Now I know the obvious answer to this question is "yes". Here's what my experience has been.
When I first launched Team We Profit I didn't have a lead capture page. Although I didn't receive a huge amount of Request A Callback referrals, those who I did talk to only 2 have yet to sign up. So overall, even though there are few callbacks they are highly targeted.
The only reason that I did build a lead capture page was for the automatic follow up. I'm soon to set into place a 30 day follow up where prospective members will receive a message every other day.
The downside to a lead capture system is that if 100 people visit your lead capture page, a good percentage of those people will never see your site because of "Email Fear"! Afraid to give a free email address out...what a joke!
Anyway, out of 100 maybe 20 will provide their info and continue to the main site. Where as with no capture/squeeze page 100 out of 100 will see the main the site.
What's the best of two evils? I'm still not sure.
It would be nice to have a way to gain a high percentage of follow up prospective members without the use of a lead capture/ squeeze page. Still thinking on that one.
Any opinions, suggestions? |

| Lead Capture Pages Effective? I think they are, When I'm surfing the Traffic Exchanges, I see some that are in the same programs BUT one have a Capture page that sticks out from the other members. They will most likely get the member first. Especially in the TE people get tried of seeing the same old pages over and over. Its' a great idea to make changes and get your members quicker. I would think that with traffic exchanges, a post card style ad would do best.
I stay 1 million miles away from traffic exchanges! lol
Isn't that awful time consuming for you? |

TE's can be time consuming but you are missing
a great way to expose your business to thousands.
You can effectively use TE's with splash and lead
capture pages just surfing one hour pay day.
